You guys, we made it to the last month of 2020! This year has been a funny one, especially the last few months. Everything that was known as "normal" shifted and it felt like each day we were winging it. Sometimes getting out of bed felt like an accomplishment and other days we had the energy to run a marathon. Maintaining a routine was hard but, at the same time, it made us realize how valuable it was to have it, that small feeling of "normal" and stability. Now that 2021 is approaching and we've slowly started getting used to the new way of doings things, it's time to set some new goals. With this month's Wellness Wednesday focus being on Physical Health, below we're sharing tips on how to add fitness to your daily routine and keep going at it.
Let a healthier version of yourself be your ultimate goal and your "why".
Reflect on all the activities you accomplished this past month around your physical health. Note what made you feel good, what was challenging, and what activities didn't bring you much joy. Post some quotes around your home that will remind you to make time for your health and quotes that pump you up!
Maintaining fitness goals. "Go big or go home" as a motto, doesn't work for everyone. Breaking down your goals can help with achieving them. Instead of working towards adding 80lbs to your bench press in the year, focus on adding 6lbs per month. Doesn't that sound easier already?
